About Kauai Kunana Dairy

History
Kauai Kunana Dairy was started in 1979 by the Wooton family, where they specialized in organic produce, goat milk soap and raising goats, chickens, ducks, and geese. In 1991 they moved to there current property where it was all pasture. They planted all the fruit trees, fenced all the pastures, and designed all the gardens that you see today at the farm. In 1999 the dairy became a certified dairy to sell cheese, and had a milking herd of 12 goats. After winning multiple awards the business has expanded to a milking herd of 30 does with a full herd of over 100 goats. You can find the goat cheese at some of Kauai's fine dining resteraunts as well as retail at the Tuesday Waipa Market in Hanalei, and two markets on Saturday in Lihue, and Hanalei.

Currently we have had problems with restaraunts not buying cheese from us and claiming on there menu's they do. If you have any questions about who buys cheese from us you can call or email us. We also would love to here where you had our cheese and how they served it. You can comment on our facebook or twitter page.
Currently we are not supplying any retail outlets with cheese making the farmers markets in Hanalei and KCC the only place to buy the cheese.
You can also find our Granola's, cookies, breads, and pestos at the Healthy Hut, Banana Joe's, Papaya's, and the Harvest Market.
