Aloha and welcome to the Website for Kauai Kunana Dairy.

Our small family farm is located on the beautiful North Shore of Kauai in the Waipake area. We have been producing Gourmet Goat Cheese and Certified Organic fruits and veggies for over 10 years. Come and take a tour of Kauai's only dairy farm, and visit our goats, chickens, honey bees as well as learning about our goats and cheeses and what we have to offer. You can also see us at the open air farmer markets in Hanalei on Saturday and Tuesday and in Lihue on Saturday.

Kauai Kunana Dairy Is Awarded for Green Practices

This year Kauai Kunana Dairy was awarded for there green practices by the Kauai Rotary Clubs Third Annual 2009 Kaua`i Green Business Initiative Awards program in the Grower category. Some of our green sustainable practices are re-using all our cardboard boxes into our gardens as weed suppresants in the isles where they eventually compost. All of our mulch comes from our tree trimmings around the farm that we mulch ourselves to place in the gardens and around our trees. We no longer buy plastic shopping bags for the farmers markets we give out recycled bags when there available or sell people reusable bags at our cost. 90% of our compost fertilizer is made here on the farm out of chicken and goat manure as well as green mulch that we made from our own tree and hedge trimmings. Come take a tour of our farm to learn about some of these sustainable practices as well as many other small things we are doing to make our farm more green.
